First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests a new medicine called nipocalimab against a standard treatment (IVIG) in 50 pregnant women who have had a previous pregnancy affected by FNAIT, a condition where the mother's immune system attacks the baby's platelets. The goal is to see if nipocalimab can better prevent severe bleeding or death in the fetus or newborn. Participants will receive either nipocalimab or IVIG during their current pregnancy.
