New drug trial aims to protect unborn babies from Life-Threatening bleeding
NCT ID NCT06533098
Summary
This study is testing whether an investigational drug called nipocalimab works better than the current standard treatment (IVIG) to prevent severe bleeding and low platelet counts in babies at risk of a rare immune condition called FNAIT. It will enroll about 50 pregnant women who have had a previous pregnancy affected by FNAIT. The goal is to see if nipocalimab can more effectively control the disease and improve outcomes for both mother and baby.
