Scientists track eye and head movements to improve night vision goggle use

NCT ID NCT07352904

First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at how healthy volunteers move their eyes and head when searching for a target (a tank) in images that simulate night vision goggles compared to normal vision. Ten participants will sit in front of a large screen and use a game controller to indicate which direction the tank moves. The goal is to understand changes in visual strategy, which could help improve training and equipment design.
