NCT ID NCT07409883

First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at how the amount of deep sleep (slow wave activity) just before waking up affects how alert you feel after a 2-hour nap at night. Researchers will monitor brain waves and test reaction times in 28 healthy adults. The goal is to understand sleep inertia—the grogginess after waking—to help night shift workers plan better naps.
