Summary
This study tested if a new extended-release version of the blood pressure medicine nifedipine works as well as an existing version already available in Colombia. It involved 50 adults with mild-to-moderate high blood pressure. The main goal was to see if the new version controlled blood pressure just as effectively after 8 weeks of treatment.
