Phone app aims to stop missed care for sickest babies
NCT ID NCT05776615
Summary
This study tested whether a new mobile app could help nurses in a newborn intensive care unit (NICU) better understand their patients' needs and reduce missed care tasks. For three months, one group of nurses used the app while another group continued their usual routine. Researchers then compared how the two groups perceived nursing tasks and whether any care was missed.
