Summary

This study tested whether a medication called nicergoline could help improve swallowing problems in people with stroke, Parkinson's disease, or dementia. Researchers compared a low dose to a high dose to see which worked better and was safer. The goal was to find the optimal dose to reduce swallowing difficulties and potentially lower the risk of pneumonia.
