Spinal injection trial aims to ease Brain's 'Squeeze' after rupture

Summary
This study is testing if a medication called nicardipine, injected directly into the spinal fluid, can help patients recover better from a dangerous complication of a brain aneurysm bleed. The complication, called vasospasm, is when blood vessels in the brain squeeze shut, risking a stroke. Researchers will compare the injection to a standard approach to see if it improves patients' ability to function independently after their injury.
