Delayed cord cutting could save newborns in distress

Summary
This study is testing whether keeping the umbilical cord attached for 3-5 minutes during emergency C-section resuscitation helps newborns breathe better. Researchers will compare this approach to the standard practice of cutting the cord immediately. They want to see if it reduces the need for babies to be admitted to special newborn care units.
