Scientists use smart mattresses and wearables to decode the secret language of moms and babies

NCT ID NCT07392138

Summary

This study aims to understand the natural connection, or 'synchrony,' between 30 mothers and their newborns in their own homes. Researchers will use smart mattresses, wearable sensors, and apps to measure things like heartbeats, sleep patterns, and mood. The goal is to learn how mothers and babies influence each other's well-being and to test if these home monitoring tools work well for future research.
