First seen Dec 18, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving expectant fathers online training about basic newborn care helps them feel more confident and makes their wives feel more supported during pregnancy. 70 couples took part, with dads-to-be in their third trimester. The training was delivered through a website, and researchers measured fathers' self-efficacy and mothers' perception of spousal support. The goal was to see if this simple, accessible approach could improve family well-being.
