Indonesian device aims to help struggling newborns breathe
NCT ID NCT07422116
Summary
This study tested if a new, more affordable breathing support device called Mixsafe works as well as the standard Neopuff device for helping newborns who have trouble breathing right after birth. Researchers compared the two devices in 107 newborns who needed help starting to breathe. The goal was to see if the new device could be a good alternative for hospitals, especially where cost is a concern.
