Scientists test new shot to protect against yellow fever

NCT ID NCT05172544

Summary

This early-stage study tested a new, inactivated yellow fever vaccine in healthy adults to see if it was safe and if it could trigger a protective immune response. Twenty-six participants received either the vaccine or a placebo in two doses, one month apart. The main goal was to monitor for any side effects and measure the body's immune response to the vaccine.
