New bandage powder aims to heal bedsores faster, with fewer changes

Summary
This study is testing a new powder wound dressing called Altrazeal® to see if it works better than standard bandages for treating serious pressure ulcers (bedsores). About 300 adults with stage 2, 3, or 4 pressure ulcers will be randomly assigned to receive either the new powder dressing or the current standard care. Researchers will compare how often bandages need changing, how well the wounds heal, pain levels, and quality of life over 12 weeks.
