New toddler vaccine aims to boost protection against whooping cough

NCT ID NCT07213089

Summary

This study tested a new version of a whooping cough booster vaccine for young children. Researchers gave the new vaccine to 290 healthy toddlers in Thailand and compared it to an already available vaccine to see if it was just as good at building immunity. The main goal was to check if the new vaccine was safe and triggered a strong immune response similar to the standard one.
