New daily pill aims to help control weight and related health issues

Summary
This study is testing a new daily medication called RO7795081 to see if it helps adults with obesity or overweight lose weight and manage related health conditions like high blood pressure. About 340 participants will take either the medication or a placebo (inactive pill) for 38 weeks while researchers track weight changes and safety. The goal is to find an effective and safe long-term option for weight management in people without diabetes.
