Summary

This study is testing whether taking special sugar beads mixed in a gel twice daily can help people with obesity lose weight and improve related health conditions like high blood pressure and cholesterol. About 102 adults with obesity and at least one weight-related health issue will receive either the active beads or placebo beads for 24 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in body weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels to see if the treatment is effective and safe.
