Digital 'Eye' watches over dialysis patients to prevent water dangers
NCT ID NCT07247539
Summary
This study tested a new digital system that constantly checks the quality of water used in dialysis machines. The goal is to catch sudden, dangerous changes in the water that current periodic tests miss, which can cause severe patient harm. By providing instant warnings, the system aims to make dialysis safer and also allows for safely reducing the large amount of water wasted during the process.
