Camera and green dye could simplify cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT06035068
Summary
This study is testing whether a new method using a special green dye and a handheld camera is as effective as the standard blue dye method for finding lymph nodes during surgery for early-stage vulvar cancer. The new approach might be simpler and more comfortable for patients and doctors. Researchers will compare how well each method detects the lymph nodes that need to be checked for cancer spread.
