New lens design aims to sharpen vision after cataract removal

NCT ID NCT06401551

Summary

This study tested a newer version of an artificial lens against the standard version to see which is safer and more effective for vision after cataract surgery. It involved 71 people who had cataract surgery in both eyes, with each eye receiving a different lens for comparison. Researchers measured how well participants could see at various distances over about six months to determine if the newer lens design offered any advantages.
