Scientists test shot to block deadly mosquito viruses

NCT ID NCT06899802

Summary

This study is testing a new vaccine designed to protect adults at high risk from serious brain infections caused by specific mosquito-borne viruses. Researchers are giving the vaccine to 411 healthy volunteers to find the best dose and schedule, and to check how safe it is and if it triggers a strong immune response. The goal is to prevent diseases like Venezuelan and Eastern equine encephalitis.
