Simple pee test could spot failing kidney transplants sooner
NCT ID NCT07176806
Summary
This study is testing a new urine test to spot early signs of kidney transplant problems. Researchers will check if a protein called DKK3 in urine can warn of transplant issues earlier than current blood tests. They will follow 258 kidney transplant patients for a year, collecting urine samples to see if this test helps predict when a transplant might start to fail.
