New hope for stiff, painful backs: major trial tests promising drug

NCT ID NCT07349329

Summary

This study aims to see if an experimental drug called '608' is better than a placebo at reducing pain and stiffness in people with a specific type of inflammatory back arthritis (non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis). About 380 adult patients with active symptoms and signs of inflammation will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo. The main goal is to measure how many people experience significant improvement in pain, function, and stiffness.
