New hope for stage III lung cancer: experimental drug combo shows promise

Summary
This study tests whether adding an experimental drug (JNJ-90301900) to standard chemoradiation, followed by maintenance immunotherapy (durvalumab), can shrink tumors more effectively in people with locally advanced, inoperable stage III non-small cell lung cancer. About 130 participants will be randomly assigned to receive the new combination or standard treatment alone. The main goal is to see if more patients achieve a significant tumor response.
