Hope for patients with untreatable blood vessel inflammation

NCT ID NCT07268521

Summary

This study is testing a drug called obinutuzumab for people with a rare and serious autoimmune disease called cryoglobulinemia vasculitis, where abnormal proteins cause inflammation in blood vessels. It is for patients whose disease did not improve with or who could not tolerate the standard treatment, rituximab. The goal is to see if this new drug can better control the disease and allow patients to stop steroid medications.
