Can a new toothpaste rival fluoride in the fight against cavities?

Summary
This study aims to see if a new toothpaste containing calcium hypophosphite works as well as a standard fluoride toothpaste at preventing cavities in adults. About 164 participants will use one of the two toothpastes daily for 18 months while maintaining their regular oral hygiene routine. Dentists will check for new cavities and plaque buildup to compare the two products.
