New toothpaste formula aims to fight gum disease
NCT ID NCT07255040
Summary
This study is testing a new experimental toothpaste containing stannous fluoride to see if it improves gum health and reduces plaque better than a regular fluoride toothpaste. About 300 adults with mild to moderate gum inflammation will use their assigned toothpaste twice daily for 24 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in gum bleeding and plaque to compare the new formula against standard options.
