New dental gel fights early cavities in Head-to-Head test
NCT ID NCT06131294
Summary
This study tested whether a new experimental fluoride gel works better than a standard fluoride product at repairing early-stage tooth decay, known as white spot lesions. In 23 participants, each person had both gels applied to different teeth in a split-mouth design. Researchers used special imaging to measure changes in the mineral content of the decay spots over time.
