Researchers create calendar to map hidden opioid crisis

NCT ID NCT06995885

Summary

This study aims to create and test a new research tool to track people's use of street opioids like fentanyl. Researchers will interview about 30 adults in Baltimore who have used nonmedical opioids in the past month, asking them to fill out a daily calendar of their drug use and describe their experiences. The goal is to develop a better tool that reflects today's complex street drug market, which will help future studies more accurately measure opioid use.
