Scientists test faster fix for stubborn toenail fungus
NCT ID NCT07382427
Summary
This study is testing a new gel called AP4500 to see if it can treat mild to moderate toenail fungus more effectively and possibly faster than current treatments. About 200 adults will apply the gel once or twice daily for 48 weeks. Researchers will compare the new gel to a placebo (a gel with no medicine) and to Jublia, an already approved treatment.
