New injection therapy tested for jaw pain and locking

NCT ID NCT07075276

Summary

This study is testing whether a new injection treatment using concentrated growth factors from a patient's own blood works better than the standard fluid-draining procedure for a common jaw joint problem. Researchers will compare the two treatments in 32 adults with painful jaw disc displacement to see which one reduces pain and improves mouth opening more effectively. The goal is to find a better option for managing this painful condition.
