New therapy aims to ease the hidden pain of schizophrenia
NCT ID NCT06597864
Summary
This small pilot study is testing a new type of talk therapy designed to help people with schizophrenia or psychosis who experience distressing 'self-disorders'—a profound disruption in how they experience themselves and the world. Eight participants will receive about 14 individual therapy sessions over 7-10 weeks. The main goal is to learn how participants experience the therapy, including whether they find it helpful and if it changes their self-perception and relationships.
