Breakthrough therapy trial offers hope for dual diagnosis patients
NCT ID NCT07305155
Summary
This study will test whether a new trauma-focused version of mentalization therapy works better than standard therapy for people who have both borderline personality disorder and complex PTSD. Researchers will enroll 40 participants in Geneva to see if the new approach is practical and acceptable to patients and therapists. The results will help determine if a larger trial should be conducted to measure effectiveness.
