Precision chemo blitz aims to spare patients major surgery in rare cancer fight

NCT ID NCT07320508

Summary

This study is testing a new, personalized treatment strategy for a rare and aggressive cancer in the nasal and sinus area. First, patients receive three sessions of chemotherapy delivered directly to the tumor to shrink it. Based on how well the tumor responds, doctors then tailor the next steps: some patients may have surgery followed by radiation, while others might avoid major surgery and receive only precise radiation.
