Donor cells deployed to battle devastating brain infection
NCT ID NCT06990087
Summary
This study tests whether specially prepared immune cells from healthy donors can help fight PML, a rare and often fatal brain infection. The trial will give these T-cells to 23 adults with PML to see if they improve survival rates and quality of life while monitoring safety. Researchers want to determine if this approach offers advantages over current limited treatment options.
