New stitch method aims to heal broken kneecaps with less pain

NCT ID NCT07248982

Summary

This study is testing whether a new surgical technique using strong sutures (stitches) works better than the traditional method using screws and cables to fix broken kneecaps. Researchers will follow 50 adults with specific kneecap fractures for one year after surgery. They will compare how well patients recover by measuring knee function, pain levels, and healing time between the two approaches.
