Doctors test new 'Cold Knife' method for safer uterus removal

NCT ID NCT07330102

Summary

This study tested a new surgical technique for removing large, non-cancerous uteruses during a minimally invasive hysterectomy. The method involves carefully cutting the uterus into a long strip inside the body before removing it, aiming to make the procedure safer and more controlled. The study involved 20 women with large, benign uteruses to see how well the technique worked and how long it took.
