NCT ID NCT07186959

ENROLLING_BY_INVITATION Disease control Sponsor: Liu Yan Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study is testing a new, minimally invasive procedure that uses a special clip and loop to stitch the upper part of the stomach, making it smaller to help with weight loss. It aims to see if this 'purse-string' stitching technique is feasible and safe for short-term weight management in people with mild obesity. The procedure is done through an endoscope (a thin tube down the throat) and is designed to be potentially reversible.
