New device aims to fix dangerous aortic bulges without major open surgery

NCT ID NCT07026877

Summary

This study is testing a new medical device called the Fenestrated TREO Stent-Graft System. It is designed to treat a dangerous bulge in the body's main artery (an abdominal aortic aneurysm) using a less invasive procedure. About 20 adults will have the device implanted and will be followed for 5 years to see if it safely prevents the aneurysm from growing or rupturing.
