New hope for Tough-to-Treat lung cancer: experimental drug enters human testing

NCT ID NCT05815160

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new oral drug called Debio 0123, given alongside two standard chemotherapy drugs (carboplatin and etoposide), for adults whose small cell lung cancer has returned or worsened after initial platinum-based treatment. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see how well the body handles the combination. Researchers will also look for early signs that the treatment might help control the cancer.
