Could a simple throat test revolutionize sleep apnea diagnosis?
NCT ID NCT03109171
Summary
This study is testing a new device that measures sensitivity in the throat to see if it can help diagnose obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Researchers will use the device on 117 adults who are already scheduled for a standard sleep study. The goal is to determine if this new test is reliable and accurate compared to traditional sleep monitoring methods.
