New cream aims to soothe painful incontinence rashes faster

NCT ID NCT06370637

Summary

This study is testing a new skin cream designed to treat painful rashes caused by bowel incontinence. Researchers will compare the new cream, which contains a soybean extract, to a standard zinc oxide cream. They want to see if the new formula helps the rash heal faster and reduces symptoms like pain and itching. The trial will involve 40 adults who can apply the cream themselves or with a caregiver's help.
