Knot vs. anchor: which shoulder surgery works best?

NCT ID NCT07327437

Summary

This study tested a new, potentially more affordable surgical technique for repairing torn rotator cuff tendons in the shoulder. 160 patients with full tears were randomly assigned to receive either the new 'Grand-Knot' method or the standard anchor-based repair. Researchers followed patients for over two years to see which technique led to better shoulder function, movement, and tendon healing.
