Summary
This study is testing a new extended-release tablet called LY03020 for adults experiencing an acute worsening of schizophrenia symptoms. It will compare the drug to a placebo (inactive pill) to see if it better reduces symptoms like hallucinations and delusions and is safe. The goal is to find a new treatment option to help control the disease during severe episodes.
