Summary
This study is testing whether an investigational medicine called NBI-1117568 can help reduce severe schizophrenia symptoms in adults who need to be hospitalized. Researchers will compare the medicine against a placebo (inactive treatment) in 284 participants worldwide. The main goal is to see if the medicine improves symptoms like hallucinations, delusions, and disordered thinking over 5 weeks of treatment.
