Dentists test Light-Based cavity finder to replace X-Rays
NCT ID NCT07342595
Summary
This study is testing a new dental scanner that uses a special light to find early tooth decay without X-rays. Researchers will compare the scanner's results to standard visual exams and X-rays on teeth already scheduled for removal. The goal is to see if this tool can help dentists spot cavities earlier, potentially leading to simpler treatments.
