New scan hunts 'Invisible' prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT05407311
Summary
This study tested a new type of imaging scan to find prostate cancer that has returned after initial treatment but doesn't show up on standard scans. It involved 53 men whose blood tests suggested the cancer was back, but other approved scans were negative or unclear. The research aimed to see if this new scan could safely and accurately locate the hidden cancer.
