Scientists craft new tool to gauge fear of moving a hurt shoulder
NCT ID NCT06485934
Summary
This study aims to create a new, more specific questionnaire to measure 'kinesiophobia'—the fear of movement—in people with shoulder injuries. Researchers will interview 150 participants with shoulder problems twice to test the new questionnaire. The goal is to develop a better tool to understand this fear, which can help guide future treatments and recovery plans.
