New dental sealer aims to improve root canal success
NCT ID NCT05763420
Summary
This study aims to see if a new type of biocompatible sealer (filling material) works as well as or better than the current standard material for root canal treatments. About 136 adults needing a root canal on a back molar will be randomly assigned to receive treatment with either the new bioceramic sealer or the standard resin sealer. Researchers will check participants' teeth after one year and for up to four years to compare healing and see which sealer leads to better long-term results.
