NCT ID NCT05336682

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tested two new, less invasive treatments for infected baby molars against the standard root canal procedure. In 66 children, one method used a special paste after cleaning the tooth, while another simply placed the paste on the pulp floor. The goal was to stop pain, swelling, and infection, and to see if the tooth could be saved without extensive drilling.
